I’m Jim Brodie, but some folks call me Jim Jam.
I am here to capture the now, before it dissolves. 17 years in the city makes me a true Chicagoan, right? Born and raised in northwest Indiana, I’d go to the beach as a kid and stare at the Chicago skyline, wondering when I’d finally find my true potential. At Columbia College Chicago, I honed my craft as a commercial photographer. While initially photographing concerts and nightlife, documenting weddings and elopements have become a deep passion of mine. When I’m not downtown at a wedding, I’m in the lab with my cats Zen and Zelda, working on film scans.
